About
I want to share some of my travels on the back of the motorcycle and even in the car to help you plan a better trip next time you are on the road. I want you, my reader, to learn about the cool, exotic, amazing places I’ve been to and share in the experiences I have been so fortunate to have experienced in my lifetime. Hopefully, my travels will give you some great ideas for your next road trip whether on a motorcycle or in a car. We only have one life and I believe it is so important to make the most of it especially when you are on vacation and want to see and experience new destinations.
I’m a native Californian who grew up in Newport Beach and have lived here all my life except for the four years of college that I spent at Boston University. I never imagined myself on a motorcycle. I never thought I would have the guts to get on a motorcycle after my two experiences as a young crazy adult. The first one some guy I was trying to pick up on went in between two cars and it knocked off his right view mirror. The second time I was at Del Taco drive-through and put my leg on the exhaust giving me a nice burn mark the size of my hand.
I met the love of my life, David fifteen years ago who has been riding motorcycles all his life (50 plus years). David is fearless(except for snakes) and tricked me into getting on my first Harley Davidson Motorcycle. One day without telling me he went to Eaglerider. He rented a Harley Davidson touring bike and told me to get on. I just closed my eyes and prayed to God. I kept telling myself I trust God and I guess I have to trust David. Since that first time getting on the 405 freeway in Los Angeles of all places, the two of us (me on the back of the motorcycle) have taken over a million miles of road trips all over the country and even Europe this past summer.
My Background
I grew up in Newport Beach California as an only child of two loving parents who are still married as of December 2019 for 50 years. I went to college at Boston University and law school at western state college of law. I chose law school after floundering around a year after college back home in Newport Beach not knowing what else to do.
My career as a lawyer did not bring me any passion or love for what I did. I struggled for years to find myself and what makes me happy. I never felt a part of whether with friends or family. I oftentimes used alcohol and drugs to make myself feel better and to fit in socially. I had a hard time fitting in with people especially when I was younger. My parents tried to make me happy and one thing that they did was put me in a Jewish youth group Bnai Brith Youth Organization BBYO.org where I found some comfort around friends in my teens. In college, I joined alpha epsilon phi Aephi.Org but all I did was get drunk and go to lots of fraternity parties. In law school, I found methamphetamine which helped me study and get through school. In 1999 I walked into the doors of alcohol Anonymous Aa. Org where I got sober which allowed me to become an attorney and get all the material things that I thought I wanted and would make me happy. Not true at all as I was still miserable inside and went back to using methamphetamine one more time until I was fired from two lawyer jobs.
Now the good part is how I met my husband. I’m not going to embellish this part of my life. First, you should know that David is my first real boyfriend. I was having a meltdown one night while planning my mom’s 60th birthday party with my aunt who was married to my mom’s twin brother. My friend Phil suggested that I come with him to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. When I arrived at the treatment center that Phil worked at he introduced me to his friend”Davey” and told me this guy would be joining us. During the meeting break, he came with me for a cigarette. The rest is history. Fourteen years later we have a great relationship and life. We travel around the country and the world together. Of course, mostly on our Harley Davidson motorcycle. I feel I have been given so many blessings in my life. Being so fortunate to travel and ride over one million miles on the back of the motorcycle I want to give back. I want to use this blog to share the great experiences I have had with you. So sit back and relax and get some inspiration for your next road trip whether on a motorcycle, in a car, on a plane or even on a cruise ship. Let’s travel the world together.

I want to share with you my life on the back of the Harley Davidson motorcycle and review the best roads I think you will enjoy next time you are looking to take a motorcycle road trip. After riding so many miles and places we have discovered a lot of unique, different and fun things that I want to share with you. The deal is my husband loves to ride his motorcycle as it makes him feel young and free and I love to gamble. In a relationship there is compromise and the way we work is we will ride to a casino. That way I get to do a little gambling and he gets to do a lot of riding. We have ridden all over the United States, Belize, France, Germany, Belgium, and Mexico. I haven’t quite ridden across the country yet only as far east as Kansas City, Kansa where my husband’s daughter and her family live and as far north as Canada. We have rented a Harley Davidson in Miami Beach, Florida and taken it down to Key West (that will be an upcoming post with lots of fun and useful information). We have also rented a motorcycle in New Orleans and rode along the Gulf Coast.
We are fortunate to be self-employed and having a husband with ants in his pants means a lot of riding for me. We have probably ridden over one million miles mostly from casinos, hotels, and resorts in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Oregon and Washington states.
