When my husband says let’s go home he is totally insanely crazy . We left Truckee at 10 am and took the 395 highway to the 15 hwy to the 215 to the 10 hwy home to Palm Desert. We arrived around midnight. We did stop in Lee Vining, Bishop and Kramer’s Junction along with 10 gas stations. It was a beautiful ride just a little hot after Bishop but with the sun setting it was bearable. I’m signing off to our next trip which will also give me time to learn about blogging.

After a breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes made by my cousin David we headed first to Starbucks of course. The debate was over to avoid the heat or not. Take the 101 highway and go through Los Angeles traffic or take beautiful highway 395 down? We opted to take on the heat versus the traffic. I love the 395 highway it is so picturesque and a much easier road to ride on. Here we come Palm Desert. I miss home but not the over 100 degrees temperature.

Woke up in our suite at Harrah’s Reno. Now finally going to spend time with my cousins and hang out at the lake. Truckee here we come again.
