Good morning today we cross the state of California from the coast to the mountains of Truckee. Hopefully we will stop in old town Sacramento for lunch. Need to ride early as it’s a high of 95 degrees in the middle of California today ♨️♨️☀️☀️????? Still working on how to post pictures so please bear with me.

We made it to my cousins beautiful big cabin house in Truckee. It only took us 4 gas station stops and lunch in Old Town Sacramento to get here. It was only 160 miles from San Francisco but an entirely different world. Peaceful, clean, nature and serene. If you ever want to come to Truckee I know my cousin rents out this beautiful place and I can get you the information. Time to relax, meditate and just enjoy the simplicity of life that is a rarity.

After a night of listening to the garbage trucks and being awakened by the hotel’s fire alarm I just want to relax today. Maybe do a little shopping. We had dinner at our favorite restaurant in Fisherman’s wharf last night. Aliotos is a very nice place where the service is impeccable and the food is scrumptious. We walked the two miles from Union square to Fisherman’s wharf through Chinatown and north beach. After dinner we decided to take the famous trolley back to our hotel for $7.00 each. A fun scenic ride with lots of history.
