Pacific Coast Highway Motorcycle Ride
I just paid $71.00 to start this blog. I’ve always wanted to review the motorcycle roads my husband and I travel along with all the hotels and resorts we stay at while on the road. This is a new journey for me and hopefully, some of my travel experiences can help you have a better trip whether you ride your own motorcycle or ride on the back like me.

My husband and I waited all day on m 48th birthday until it cooled off or was under 100 degrees before beginning our motorcycle trip up the California Coast. The one thing that is hard about living in Palm Desert is the three months a year when every day it is over 100 degrees and sometimes as hot as 120 degrees. We only have to endure fifteen minutes before the strong winds Palm Springs is known for picking up and hit us hard on the 10 freeway west towards Los Angeles. Our first of numerous and sometimes too many gas stations station stop was still in the desert heat. My husband looked through his rearview mirror and thought he saw his sweatshirt on top of our suitcase flying around. The heat tends to give you illusions. The 2nd stop of our trip was a gas station by Cabazon. We did not stop at the Morongo Casino as it was too early in the ride to hit take a longer break and hit the slot machines. By the way, I am writing this blog post on the back of our 2016 Harley Davidson Road Glide we purchased at the Victorville Harley Davidson Dealership a few years back. Not quite sure when we actually bought “Betty Boop.” Every motorcycle my husband buys has a name. The last Harley Davidson motorcycle was named the “Bitch.” Our first night we are going to stay at my friend Erica’s house in the San Fernando Valley. The next morning we will set out for the nice part of our trip as I am never that thrilled to ride through Los Angeles with the awful traffic and beyond bad roads.
