SAN MANUEL ALL THRILLS
It’s Monday night and the weather is finally under 100 degrees. My 14 year old grey tabby cat has been throwing up for the past month and we still don’t know what is wrong with him after 2 veterinarians and $700.00. So I want to clear my head and my husband David says at 5pm let’s ride to San Manuel. So we hop on our Harley Davidson Road Glide and head out of the Desert heat to San Manuel Casino. It’s a big casino in Highland, California that is always crowded. They have a lot of video poker machines upstairs and downstairs as there is about 5 or 6 bars including a nightclub on the weekends. They also have live poker for my husband who loves to play No Limit Hold’em. We live about an hour away. Going through the Palm Springs “pass” is always windy as we past the famous windmills. At least tonight the wind is doable and the sunset is picturesque. We go from 95 degrees to 70 degrees on the ride. Aahhh cool weather. I love it. Wish me luck at San Manuel. Hopefully tonight I hit a Royal Flush for $1000.00.?????
P.S. There is no longer any live poker at San Manuel Casino. What a bummer especially for my husband. The good news is I hit a Royal Flush for $1000.00. Lucky me!
